Architect in Hamble-le-Rice

Hamble-le-Rice is an eclectic village, with buildings of various styles representing different periods of its development. LA Hally Architect have been involved in both new build and full renovations in the area. We have designed 2 of the homes in well-known Crowsport estate and our designs have been widely showcased in lifestyle magazines and on Homes by the Sea on Channel 4.

Lesley Hally, Director of LA Hally Architect, also conducted a RIBA talk about one of the houses due to interest that surrounded it. The area is famed for its simple but elegant Bauhaus style homes, which we remained sensitive to with the remodelling of these two buildings which were tired and in desperate need of repair, as well as modernisation. Our designed transformed these properties, retaining their style and making the most of the amazing harbour views and positioning on their sites.

We have worked on other projects in the area involving the creation of a three-bedroom property from a one-bedroom fisherman’s cottage, increasing the value to the client dramatically, with clever planning and infilling, which again managed to grace the pages of lifestyle magazines due to the clever use of space.

We have worked in on several other properties in the village, and other areas around the river Hamble, such as Warsash , Sarisbury Green, Swanwick, Bursledon and Netley. The areas on the north-west side of the river fall withing Eastleigh Borough Council, with those on the south-east side being governed by Fareham Borough Council. LA Hally Architect have plenty of experience working with both of these councils, successfully gaining planning permission for interesting and exciting schemes as well as modern additions to traditional homes.
