Project 820
Project – Project 820
Location – Buckinghamshire
Scope of Works – Renovation + Partial New Build
Beyond the county borders is Project 820, a village hall that sits at the heart of its local community. The hall is being partially re-constructed to create spaces that are freer flowing and are a size better suited to growing demand on the space. A new, more spacious entry point that is welcoming and accessible to all leads to a new, bigger main hall that can be re-arranged to house a multitude of functions. To the back of the plan, the existing structure is retained and renovated to create essential back of house space, including meeting rooms and loft access.
New solar panels will help the hall to become more self-sustainable and will be an investment for the years to come. The reconstructed hall itself retains its existing palette of white painted brick and grey roof tiles whilst also adding new complimentary dark accents through new cladding, facias, and window frames. These additional touches create an overall look that helps celebrate the charm of the existing, just to a new, elevated level.
