Project 792

Project – House 792

Location – Owslebury

Scope of Works – Renovation + Extension

Situated in the beautiful countryside of Owslebury is House 792, surrounded by fields and agricultural barns. Our client asked us to renovate this Grade II listed barn, whilst keeping the timber beams on show and to create a glass link between the main barn and the adjacent annexe. The glass link is carefully placed to complement the protected barn, creating a master suite, office, open living space, and car port, creating continuity between the two buildings.

Internally, timber beams were hidden by previous owners, and so walls have been opened up to show the original framework of the barn. A double height living space and extended glazing to let light in, frame the views out across the surrounding countryside. A new porch creates a welcoming entrance, and ties metal into the existing timber, brick, and glass palette.
