With the English channel as a near neighbour, House 817 is a coastal property of its time that is being tailored to have a sleeker, more contemporary feel that still keeps the property very in-keeping with those around it. A new master suite, sitting room, utility, and entrance are created through a two-storey side extension that adds extra space that gives the rest of the existing footprint room to breathe.

The rear-facing bedrooms become key spaces in this home with the addition of a new gable end window with a juliet balcony to one, and a new set of bifold doors that lead to a personal balcony to the other. This will allow for quiet, personal enjoyment of the coastal scenery from the comfort of their own revitalised home. Externally, the newly rendered facades and the replacement windows give the home a tidying up without having to make any dramatic changes, allowing the home to come in to its own and settle into its new era with ease.
