Nestled deep in the midst of Winchester’s quiet residential streets is House 803, a well-loved red brick & render family home ready for a new lease of life. This rejuvenation takes form as a side and rear extension with internal reconfiguration at both levels, creating new individual and family spaces by means of an additional 2 new bedrooms, a new ensuite to the master bedroom, and a new open plan kitchen-diner.
The corner glazing to the open plan kitchen to the ground floor allows light to flood deep into the space, whilst also increasing the connection between this key family space and the sprawling garden that boasts mature planting and plenty of fauna. The newly extended master suite to the first floor also gains more connectivity and light through the inclusion of a juliet balcony which sits amongst the rendered part of the extension, tying in the existing material from the front with the rear to give a more overall cohesive feel to the home.
