The existing property had been extended many times by previous owners, creating a jumbled layout and unusable spaces. The clients wanted a beautiful, open plan house for their forever home, situated in the heart of the New Forest National Park. The plan to extend over two storeys creates a more spacious kitchen and living space, more generous master suite and family bathroom, and an additional bedroom for their growing family.
Taking their love of natural materials inside and out, contemporary cedar cladding wraps round the entire property. Expansive new glazing opens onto the patio, looking out onto their garden, stream, and church beyond.
