With a striking Cor-Ten steel extension, this modest chalet bungalow is to be transformed from a compact three bedroom housed to a luxurious family home. The new kitchen becomes the hub of the household, linked to the living, dining and play spaces, and overlooking the garden to the rear. Within the first floor of the extension, a new master suite with dressing room and ensuite bathroom are created, with the existing bedrooms left largely untouched.
Laser-cut panels are added to the front elevation to create privacy from the road, which raises up on this side of the property.
