Scope of Works – New Build

The existing property sits on a large plot and was a 70s dated home, so our clients wanted us to design a modern replacement new build instead. The proposed design has a grand double storey entrance hall with spiral staircase, leading to an open plan kitchen diner sitting room, with glazed doors looking out to the manicured garden. A lounge, study and cinema room are to one side, with a playroom, utility and double garage to the other. At first floor there are five bedrooms with the master having its own his & hers dressing room and private Juliet balcony viewing the lawn. 

Externally the front driveway has been adapted to allow better access and space, and at the rear expansive glazed doors lead out onto new hard landscaping, which allows our clients to enjoy indoor outdoor living. In their garden are many TPO trees which we needed to avoid, so their new family home will remain surrounded by peaceful forestry.

The material palette is limited to white render and yellow brick which varies in shades. These softer colours and textures help the new build blend in with its natural backdrop of woodland. Our clients have chosen to be more environmentally friendly, such as using solar tiles, Smart Home technology, ASHP and MVHR systems.
