Scope of Works – Internal Modifications + Two Storey Extension

Having recently purchased this property in the character area of Hiltingbury, our clients were keen to enhance the existing layout through the addition of a new reception room to the rear of the property, whilst reconfiguring the rooms at first floor. Light is introduced into the currently dark circulation spaces through the addition of carefully positioned roof lights, illuminating the first floor corridor and new curved feature staircase, as well as the addition of glazed and recessed pocket doors throughout. A balcony to the master suite overlooks the generous gardens, creating a fantastic space to escape to and unwind.

Large glazed bi-folds to the rear allow the space to be fully opened up to the garden in the summer months, flooding the spaces with light and creating a feeling of space and openness. The alterations modernise the property without losing its character, creating a fantastic family home.
