House 798, a single storey extension to a family home in Winchester, is almost ready for its final certification. Featured in this open plan living-dining space is a stunning Hobson’s Choice kitchen which we’ll show off better with internal photos next week, but for now please enjoy these lovely external shots from Ant Penny!
Happy Easter all! This week we’re happy to share that we’ve received planning permission for House 793. This red brick family home is being re-organised internally with the help of a new porch, a new ground floor extension, and two new dormers to the first floor to create a better flow and more functionality.

Here are two different material palette tests for one of our newest projects, House 831. We think both would complement the existing house and streetscape, but they both give very different overall effects! Looking forward to seeing how these material combinations develop as we refine the design…

Here’s another look at House 644 but this time with a focus on the externals. The extension has an overall contemporary feel that is finished with mid-century accents, planting, and a green flat roof to soften the overall appearance and reflect the client’s unique style. Check our last post to see the internals for this project!

This week we take a look back at the interiors for House 644. The interiors were cleverly crafted to help the new additions to the cottage feel in keeping with the rest of the home, whilst highlighting and celebrate its quirks and unique features. The result is something that feels super homely and reflective of the client’s unique style and makes it a project we really enjoy looking back at!

House 742 is a celebration of the opportunities terraced houses present. By adding a rear extension, a new dormer, and re-organising the internal layout, this house feels a lot more spacious and bright. This project is fast approaching final certification and we wish the clients all the best with their new home!

House 643, a grade II listed house, recently completed on site! This project had tricky planning constraints which were met in various ways including the use of lime render and a flint work base. These materials were used on both the new annex and the new extension, continuing the key characteristics of the house, helping to settle both into their setting immediately whilst also giving a lovely overall effect.

Last week we received planning permission from Winchester City Council for House 821 which looks at creating a better connection between the inside spaces and the view outside. There was also a focus on bettering the sustainable performance of the house by installing both solar panels and an air source heat pump, future proofing it for years to come.
